Karina Browne (Judge)
has been involved in the dance industry for over 30 years. She has extensive background in modern, ballet, pointe, tap, ballroom, jazz, lyrical, contemporary,
hip hop, musical theater and acrobatics. As an accomplished choreographer in the
competitive field, her choreography has won many awards including best choreography, most entertaining act and top overalls at regional, national and international events. Karina has been a dance professor at Heidelberg University & Lorain Community College. She has also served as the Director of Dance Studies at Notre Dame College and is currently on faculty at the Case Western Reserve University Department of Dance. Karina is an active judge, emcee, event coordinator and tour director at regional and national dance competitions. She has been invited to perform and choreograph for various studios, shows and events throughout the country. Karina is signed with PMTM agency as a model, actress, and dancer. She has danced professionally with RED Company and performed with Cleveland Dance Project. She is also a choreographer for Hawken Upper School and is on faculty with Reach Out and Dance which teaches dance to local elementary school students. Karina is a 2010 graduate of Heidelberg University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree
in Musical Theater. She received her Master of Fine Arts Degree in Contemporary Dance from Case Western Reserve in 2014. She looks forward to joining the fantastic faculty at Eleve and sharing her passion and knowledge with all of the dancers.
